International Events in Regional Studies

Regional Studies is a field of interdisciplinary research and scholarship pertaining to particular geographical, national and cultural regions. It focusing on the sub national such as state, city and regional development, related to economic inequalities, migration issues, urbanization etc. Basically, there are three types of regions in the world such as formal, functional and vernacular. A region is an area can be defined by natural features, climate, culture, language, environment and government. Both urban and rural areas are referred to as regional planning. Its purpose is to accelerate the social, economic, political and environmental progress of any specific community.
